Literally: In Love With New Orleans!

It is time for the second instalment of our beloved “In Love With America” travel series! Now that you’re all prepped for a weekend trip to Washington, D.C., we think it’s time to discover yet another city. More tips from real-life au pairs, secret spots & hidden corners are awaiting you in this blog – so don’t miss out!

In this series, we’re shedding some light on our au pairs’ favourite spots in the USA. Whether it is a city, a state or just a general area that our au pairs are currently obsessed with – we’ll introduce some of North America’s “places to be” in an entirely new way. Our secret? We get our recommendations right from the source – our lovely au pairs – to ensure that our travel tips cover everything an Au Pair in America needs to know about and more!

Today we’re going down south, to one of America’s truly surreal places, full of history and the supernatural. Any idea? Here’s a hint: The readers of the infamous online travel magazine “Travel + Leisure” ranked this city America’s 2nd Favorite Place in 2017. That’s right, today you’ll be reading all about New Orleans (also known as NOLA). So, make yourself comfortable, get your notepads and pencils ready (or just open your Notes app, really) and enjoy!
