One of the most frequently asked questions we get would probably have to be: “Can I pick the state that I am eventually going to live in as an au pair?” And we always tell you guys to not pick your host family based on the state nor the city they live in – because quite honestly, as long as you get along with your new family, you won’t be able to help but fall in love with everything else – including your surroundings!
But don’t just take our word for it. Here’s what one of our many ‘OH’ au pairs had to say about her home state: “Living in Ohio is great, everything is so reasonably-priced compared to other states – plus Ohio is so close to other states. You can make it in 4-5 hours from Ohio to any other neighboring state! I’ve managed to go to 23 states, and I did the majority of it by car, since it’s so efficient and cheap.”
